Butterpie (“Butterpie”, “we”, “us”) provides an online accounting and micro‑ERP service for small businesses, accessible at butterpie.io (the “Service”). [legal entity name, registered address, KRS/NIP/REGON, and contact details to be inserted by the owner]
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding your credentials, including any multi‑factor authentication. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
The Service assists with invoicing, VAT/JPK reporting, cash and bank reconciliation, document management and related functions. The Service is a tool and does not constitute tax, accounting or legal advice. You remain responsible for the correctness and lawful use of the data you enter and the filings you make.
Statutory output. Registers, declarations and filings the Service produces are computed from the records you enter, under our own implementation of the applicable Polish rules. That implementation has not been attested by any tax authority and has not been reviewed by external legal counsel. It is your responsibility, or your accountant's, to review a filing before you submit it. Where a figure the Service produces differs from what the applicable rules require, the rules govern.
The Service offers an optional AI assistant that can answer questions about your records, fill in forms for you and, with your consent, hold voice conversations. Its answers are generated automatically by an AI model of our AI service provider, OpenAI Ireland Limited, run by its affiliate OpenAI OpCo, LLC in the United States, and can be wrong: check them before you rely on them.
The assistant never saves, issues or sends anything by itself. You remain responsible for every document you save, issue or file, including any value the assistant filled in for you.
Using the AI features spends AI credits. We may switch the AI features off or limit them at any time, for example to protect the Service or to control its cost. How the AI features process personal data is described in section 7a of the Privacy Policy.
Paid plans and prices will be described on the pricing page and are subject to change with notice. Payments are processed by our merchant of record / payment provider. Taxes may apply. Fees are billed in advance for the applicable period unless stated otherwise.
You may not use the Service unlawfully, to infringe others’ rights, to attempt to breach security or isolation between tenants, or to reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. For business customers we act as a processor of personal data you control, under a data‑processing addendum to be provided.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including, for consumers, mandatory statutory rights). [liability caps and consumer carve‑outs to be set by counsel]
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach. On termination you may export your data for a limited period as described in our documentation.
